Wakefield St. / Natick Ave., West Warwick, RI 02893 |

West Warwick - Wakefield St. x Natick Ave.. If you drive from Providence St. direction travelling up Wakefield St. till you get around about the Natick Ave. cross street area and to a bit beyond (headed in the direction that would take you to Main Ave. if you continued) you will have no service. It picks up again just as you get to the Wakefield Elementary School. T-Mobile's answer to this is that, "they have been tweaking the towers and therefore some signals may have changed and now making it so that some area's are dead spots" and my parent's answer to this would have been, "you've got an answer for everyting, don't you?". Well isn't that just wonderful -they tweak their towers and we get dead spots for it. So, to who's benefit did they tweak the towers then??? A better paying area with more people? They all hand you a line and an excuse for poor quality of service. Too bad we could not do the same and pay only for the service actually received and none of the down time, the static ridden lines, the background noise coming through so loud that you cannot hear who you are talking to and if you tell T-Mobile this they say turn down the volume - to wit I say - it is - to wit they say - nothing - as they have no answer other than that is strange and I am not sure on that one and nothing becomes of it or you are shipped all over the place and it still continues, the error in connecting messages, error in network services, there is no network connection messages even if you are standing in front of or very near a tower and many more I am sure I am missing or forgetting. Before I forget, I too, have been told that I should "stand outside" to get a connection by a T-Mobile rep. Some of their rep's are a total joke! I asked if she stood outside to make her calls - no, of course not, so why would I and I do not pay what I do to stand out in the elements to make my calls and to lose my privacy also. Then they hand their usual line of bull: turn phone off and power back on, still the same? Remove the battery ='s terminal shut down, still the same? How many bars do you have, they can't do anything if you have obstruction's they say. So, then, why does it work fine one minute and not the next or one day and not the next, tells me it is them and their crappy network! Then their answer when they have no answer to their junk service is to reset the network back to the factory settings and see if that fixes the problem, as it is probably a glitch they say and that takes out everything you have on your phone. Which of course, the first and only time they did that to me, they did not advise me that is what would happen. By the way, they also do not bother to tell you that these phones are made to last a year (that is what one of the reps told me as the rep / person did not believe in lieing to the public, but felt if you tell the truth you bring more customers that way). So then, why is it they make you sign up for a two (2) year contract on a one year piece of junk? Guarenteed income of course! The usual, if you sign up for two years and your phone dies just over the one year then they suck you up for another two (2) year contract when you go in for another phone to replace the piece of junk you now have because they know you will be fed up and move up to another model or another type altogether. Their nice way of getting you coming and going and all with that friendly smile and jingle! Useless answers and useless ways to fix what is either a junk network or junk phones. You choose!

Almost no reception, GSM is very off-and-on throughout RI. 2 Dead spots on 295 Smithfield area, and throughout RI I cant trust my phone not to drop calls. Also erratic, sometimes solid sometimes not in same spot. Many Verizon users have good bars in the same areas so I may switch, reluctantly, because of GREAT plan and phone.
