The reception for Alltel is excellent. Its putting up with the customer service and the pro-rated bills that sucks. They charge you for breathing.

I've recently been looking for a different provider other than Alltel, but no one else really gets as much coverage and I must have my phone at all times since its my primary point of contact.

Just having switched from Verizon to Alltel, I can say that I am a happy camper. I've been with Verizon for six years now, and the service has always been "iffy". Their great phone selection, low costs, etc. lured me in. Now I've been with Alltel for a few days, I can't ever go back. I am able to do everything I've wanted with my cell phone, without worrying about signal loss. From Barnwell, SC. to Olar, Govan, Denmark, to Orangeburg, the coverage has been really good so far.
