AT&T reception is horrible and totally unacceptable in the greater Hilton Head / Bluffton areas. No reception whatsoever inside. Spotty at best outside in few locations. How does a provider overlook such a large population in a flat area where cell service would be easy to broadcast? We have much better reception in the mountains of NC.

When you make a call, you get cut off. Never have a signal, once out side of the area it is fine. Have complained to AT&T 4 times already and nothing done about it.

Reception inside Hampton Hall with AT&T is non-existent. Very frustrating! Once we leave the gate, reception is fine. We have called AT&T to see if there are any plans on the drawing board for a tower in the area, and have been advised there are no such plans.

No reception here at home. No data services, either. According to the Sprint Coverage Map, reception here is "Good." Not true. It's been like this for the past few months.

Get very poor reception at our house. My phone usually has 1 bar and my husband's none.

Sprint coverage in bluffton is terrible. If you look at their "coverage map" for Bluffton vs the Island, coverage is one level up from bluffton. I get dropped calls all the time and can barely talk to my wife when she is in her building on Buckwalter. Nextel coverage is better here than the Sprint towers

Sprint coverage for Data Services in Bluffton are terrible. If you are inside a building it is terrible. For the last 5 days 6 / 19-24 data services have been unavable alltogether.

Often, I have no bars or (worse yet) a nil sign even when standing outside my home. I also occasionally receive a message that I am not registered on a network. T-Mobile representative stated that their map shows coverage in my area... too bad I can't use their map to make a phone call.

Since June 2010, service has been horrible. I drop calls daily in my home. I think the timing might correspond with Verizon selling off some of the Alltel assets... ?

Since Alltel acquisition, reception has been improved drastically. It was already very good, with some holes where a tower was not near. The addition of the Alltel towers filled in the gaps, and I seem to have full reception strength in most parts of town.
