Recently switched from Nextel back to Cingular due to poor reception. Very satisfied with our coverage through out the Tri-State Region. We do a lot of business travel, we are now able to get clear reception with few dropped calls. In some low elevation areas around Cooley Springs and Boiling Springs the signal drops to one bar, but we typically do not drop the call. I have noticed that the phone makes the most difference in quality.

Cingular has no bars at all. Altell has one bar. One is better than none, but already switched to Cingular.

Reception is very poor for Verizon in this area. Some low lying areas has no reception at all. A Verizon tower north of boiling springs would help.
