Just bought a new home in the Willow Tree Commons subdivision and cannot get cellular reception on almost any network. Have the unique situation of having phone from all three major carriers due to a mix of personal and work phones. Our family plan of four phones, is with AT&T, my work phone is with Verizon and spouse work phone is with T-Mobile. the T-Mobile is dead in the water, AT&T is spotty on most phone one not picking up at all in the house, Verizon works but is 2g or 3g, so basically phone calls only. Was this review helpful to you?
I have a mobile extender and websites and photos take forever to download and open. Calls drop all the time. Sprint keeps telling me they're adding towers and repairing towers for the past 3 years. The cost for our unlimited everything plan for 3 phones is amazing, we just wish the sh-tuff would work like they're supposed to...Was this review helpful to you?
Seems like it gotten worse in the past few months. dMb greater than 115 most of the time. Choppy conversations and constantly saying "can you hear me now" is embarrassing. Great reception at Clemson and Summit Parkway. Guess in an emergency, I'll have to get in the car and drive up the road! Now I wish I hadn't removed my land- line. Was this review helpful to you?
I can't get more than two bars at any time drop calls all the time really disappointed with VerizonWas this review helpful to you?
Plan is too price for 3 GB Data and 3 phones $246 / mo! I'm going elsewhere if I can find reception on this low elevation street from a different service provider. Was this review helpful to you?
The reception is very spotty in the NE of Cola. It can go from full bars to no service just by turning down a street. I have multiple problems trying to get service inside my house even though T-mobile's coverage maps says it's "satisfactory", a rep told me that satisfactory service on the coverage map is actually "challenging". I think they may have antennas on two towers out here. One is near Hardscrabble and Clemson. The other is somewhere in the lake carolina area. Verizon on the other hand has a whopping tower on Lee Road. Was this review helpful to you?
T-Mobile is most certainly offering better data service in this area than Verizon. T-Mobile's HSPA+ blows Verizon's LTE out of the water. Verizon LTE is averaging 6-8Mbps, while T-Mobile HSPA+ (not even LTE) is averaging 11-15Mbps. [Tests were performed with a Motorola G (t-mobile) and a Motorola X (verizon)]. Why pay 20% more for geographic coverage you use 0.1% of the time--especially when it's slower? For a family of 4, is it worth the extra $500-$1000 a year to have great service on your Labor Day weekend camping trip? Was this review helpful to you?
Great and very fast 4G LTE service. Have ran speedtests and the 4G LTE is much faster it seems than ATT or Verizon. Was this review helpful to you?
Have had Verizon for over 10 years. Their pricing is ridiculous but I have stayed with them because the service is fantastic everywhere I have been: Northern Wisconsin, (lower) UP, Chicago, Indiana, Atlanta, and Columbia, SC. My current service is still great. Unfortunately I can no longer afford such high pricing and will probably switch carriers within the next few months. Was this review helpful to you?
I have always had spotty reception at home but in the last 2 months its gotten twice as bad. Most of my texts want go through even with 3 bars. I have been with Sprint for 10 years, its time to move on.Was this review helpful to you?
