The reception is zero. We've been with Verizon for 12 years now and we only keep it for convenience away from the house. They told us ten years ago that they would be adding antennas in our area. I tried to get a better phone and still no bars. I got hold of tech support and they gave me a 'Repair Ticket'. Three days later I had to call them - they were supposed to call me. They told me the same thing they told me 10 years ago. I'm starting to believe that if you live in a 'dead zone', it's not going to hange no matter which carrier you're with.

No Problems with AT&T on a Nokia phone. Just ended Suncom. It was terrible.

I'm in a stockroom maybe 80percent of the time and I have never had a drop call. Only when I don"t charge my phone. But Crestview Rd is a dead zone for me 90percent of the time.

I have taken this phone back to Veriizon about 6 times.All the ones I get in return have the same problem.The voice keeps breaking up and you cant understand anyone you are trying to talk to.My wife and Daughter have Verizion but a differnt phone there recepion is very good.Had a emergency call on the phone and had to go back into my house and us a land line.

The reception from Whitehorse road, down Hwy. 183 to Jameson road is spotty at best. My former phone was the LG VX4650. With the VX4650 I maintained a quality connection with no interuptions... the 700w, sadly does not.

I drop calls each time I am in this area, as does the rest of my family with the same phone. Its right at the bridge b / w counties-in front of The Care Center and the matress store place. Also inside the Bilo on Hwy. 153. Those of us with Alltel are not able to walk more than 6 feet in the store with out dropping calls but I will see others all the way in the back of the store on their phones. Is our network scared of the inside of Bilo?

Phone cuts off within 1-2 minutes

The NEXTEL / Motorola (sorry, don't know the model) phone I carry for work when I am on-call has been rock solid reliable from my home at this location. My personal cell phone is a Verizon / Audiovox CDM-135. It has NEVER worked reliably from my home. The first time I took the work cell phone home, I was shocked that it worked so well. I intend to change carriers to NEXTEL for this reason even though they have a less extensive coverage area than Verizon. What good is a larger coverage area if the quality of that coverage is spotty.

My Verizon / Audiovox CDM135 phone has never worked reliably from my home. Most of the time I get no connection at all. Occaisionally it will connect, but even then it is poor. My work requires me to carry a cell phone at times. They provide me with a NEXTEL / Motorola phone. It has worked rock solid from this same location.

Just like every area in Easley, I've got full signal using my VX6000 LG. I can't think of a single place in Easley I have been that has poor reception in either 29642 or 29640
