Alltel 5 Out of 5 Phone Model: motorola v262	Had Cingular, and I couldn't even get reception at home (after they "raised the bar"). With Alltel I get reception EVERYWHERE... and it's clear, I never get static even if it's low reception

AT&T 2 Out of 5 Phone Model: Samsung SGH-X427	I only receive one bar at home only upstairs. At most rural areas I receive very little to no signal whatsoever. however downtown or in major shopping areas the signal is awesome. Kinda odd since I only live < 10 mins from the city. also along 176 the reception is great for some reason. The merger of AT&T with Cingular isn't helping. If you're looking for a phone and live around Spartanburg, my assessment is don't choose Cingular. The customer service hasn't been so great, either, but it's livable. Alltel is #1 and Verizon is awesome too.
