Calls Drop a lot, both iPhone and Droid. 4G network however is very fast for Internet access and download.

Are you kidding AT&T. This is is worst service on Hilton Head bar none.

Can get four (of five) bars in front of condo only. Have to walk outside to keep phone call. WiFi hotspot gets 80% (3G) signal at front of condo only, 10-20% at rear. Can get 4G at 80% at Shelter Cove.

Pitiful. They still cash my checks though. No coverage at all in my home. Same with At and t before but thy promised that the desktop tower would help. Of course, as with all these thieves, a misstatement.

Hilton Plantation reception is horrible and the board of directors are nearsighted. I can't believe that in 2011 I can't get a signal! Why Hargray was not allowed to service this area back in 1995 is beyond me. Poor planning!

i had trouble with spriny and verizon-is there decent reception around here?. why does Europe have such great coverage? I am an old lady, I need my phone.

Poor Service all over the Island and in Bluffton. Text and Email seem to work fine, but phone calls drop constantly.

only get reception outside away from the ocean but my husbands dumb phone is getting better reception than my I phone.

Very little to no reception. 1 bar at best. I did not even attempt to make a call because it wouldn't even hold the signal long enough to do so.

Absolutely horrible AT&T voice service in Sea Pines. It teeters between no service and 1 bar and of course the calls drop. Absolutely hard to believe a company the size of AT&T has such horrible wireless phone coverage.

Very spotty reception in the Condo Complex and in Hilton Head island in general. No reception in 50% of the places on iPhone, slightly better on Motorola v19.. something.

Download speed faster than Northern NJ! Can download 25MB file in under 1 minute. Reception always amazing! Upload pretty slow, though. Other than upload speed, everything else is awesome!

To be the so-called "giant" of the industry, the rural coverage is terrible. Don't get Nextel if you plan on working or traveling away from major cities or interstates.
