I get excellent service with my Alltel Hue phone it has great signal where ever I go. I love Alltel wireless(Verizon)

ALLTEL has far better coverage and much fewer deadspots all over Orangeburg and Calhoun Counties. There the best!

Most of my family gave me a hard time for going with Alltel because they're all on Cingular and always raving about how good it is. But I had a couple friends at college that were impressed with Alltel so I wanted to try them out. After trying it out I've proven to all my family that Alltel is even better around here. The signal doesn't drop off indoors near as bad as it did with Cingular and all of Orangeburg is covered great with 4-5 bars. Campus coverage is really great in all buildings. I've got signal everywhere around here. Plans also much better deal. I'm really happy with Alltel here.

Alltel's coverage along I-26 from Charleston to Columbia is spotty at best and non-existance at worst. You would think along a major interstate artery that you could get coverage. If you get 1 bar, you are lucky, especially in the St. Matthews / Orangeburg / I-95 areas. Dropped calls happen all the time, no matter time of day. Not reliable at all.

I had Cingular and switched to verizon,I see Cingular is putting up a tower at the intersection of Hwy. 4 and Shillings Bridge Rd. If Verizon does'nt do anything about there service out this way I will be switching back to Cingular or I'll try out alltell. I've got to many problems with my phone breaking up or getting to many dropped calls.

recently switched from Cingular to verizon. thought I was doing myself a favor switching cell providers but I was'nt. Verizon is no better than cingular.

phone picks up good in city.once you go toward the country like neeses or bamberg the service sucks.I also have no bars inside my house,but if I walk out in the yard I get 2 or 4 bars.
