verizon has no reception in apartments around the naval hospital, and also has little reception on the piers in port royal. Forget about reception in any buildings. The coverage here is awful, and they have no plans for upgrades. Good news is they will release you from your contract because of the coverage problem.

There is no reception in the apartments by Beaufort Naval Hospital. Also there is poor reception in Beaufort all together for Nextel. There are also places in SC and NC Where there is no service. These places are right before the Border to NC and about 30 miles away from the Border when you're in NC.
