Even after the merger, Verizon provided good service until one day, it just went out. Company says that Alltel towers were turned up higher than FCC allows (?) Bought 500 bucks worth of signal extender equipment (Verizon rep recommended this) and reception is still very unreliable. They say they will put a tower in this area in "6 to 9 months". We will see. Internet via wire card is rated "2", phone service did not improve much, even with signal extender, very poor call quality. Used to be amazingly excellent. Very sad situation.

There is absolutely no service in this area. This area needs some close attention by wireless companies.
