I'm a law enforcement officer and I travel throughout the county. I have to say AT&T has the best coverage in the area. I have a Verizon work phone and the coverage does not compare to AT&T!

Nearly Impossible to get a signal in the University of Memphis Area North of Central. Connection Problems and dropped calls all over town (Downtown, Midtown, East Memphis, Wolfchase, and Lakeland). Often cannot connect to other Cingular Members (Network Overload). My phone is old and cheep, but I have tested friends and family members newer (Cingular) phones (May 2007) and they have the same problems.

Cingular service is terrible within Abington Woods Subdivision and spotty at best between the subdivision and Germantown Road. I have no service in my home.
