I have trouble getting full bars in the Chattanooga area

I lose calls constantly if I travel in ANY form- walking, driving, etc, around the city. I recently upgraded to this phone because T-Mobile told me that it was just the older phone I was using. Now I feel they just wanted me back under contract.

Gets coverage just about everywhere in Apison. Awesome reception and very fast!

I no longer have service at my house and barely can get it outdoors. I have T-Mobile. Does anyone know why so suddenly the receiption is so bad??

Down here visiting parents... My S30 works all across the country ( I live in Chicago and travel on business), but there is almost no coverage here on the edge of north Red Bank at the Chatta city limits.. Inside the house is none at all. My parents' ATT cheapies do quite well, though.

AT&T has really stepped up their game on reception. I get Great reception in buildings even in the basements in buildings at UTC where no one else has service. The phone may have something to do with it but I rarely get dropped calls and data is extremely fast. Speed tests average about 2.5 Mb / s.

I have found that Sprint's reception is pretty decent for Chattanooga. I believe reception does have a lot to do with the phone. HTC has always worked pretty well for me, but my wife's phone (basic Samsung) drops in areas where mine works without a problem. However, if you travel in the cell-phone black hole between Chattanooga and North Alabama as I do on a regular basis, it is terrible. Sprint's phone and data rates are the main reason I stick with them.

had excellent reception here before when I was with nextel, don't understand why when Sprint owns Nextel they are not on same cellular towers

Called mobile Numerous times. There rey is they kno they have issues but new towers are not in their budget. they also said there are too many trees in the area.

Zero-1 bars in apartment complex. Reception a must for my position. Many calls don't come through. May be the phone and not the T-Mobile network.

No signal at all for pretty much any service. Only Verizon has coverage here.

Zero to 1 bar inside my house, sometimes 2 bars standing in the middle of the street. Phone is essencially worthless unless I'm driving or at work.

Using an older-model phone, cannot send or receive from inside any buildings, with spotty reception outside buildings. I'm dumping AT&T and looking for something that gets strong reception inside buildings on UTC campus. Any recommendations? I've narrowed it down to T-Mobile and Verizon. Pros? Cons?

I have had problems with Sprint since moving to Chattanooga. Lots of dropped calls and I can rarely get more than 1-2 bars. When I call customer service, they babble and tell me they'll report it to Technical support for troubleshooting but it never seems to help. I lived in another area near the Ridge cut it and was pretty bad too. Seems like Sprint does not care about a presence in this area, unlike Atlanta where service was good.

I was getting 1 or 2 bars until Nov. now I have 0 reception in my house. I have to go for a drive in my car to use my cell phone, as soon as I get in my driveway, I begin to get static and drop droppin of words till I actually drop the call. This sucks!

Tmobile is the best service out there.

I never get a good signal at home, have call Cingular, they have no answer. I will be changing my service to someone else soon. Have has this one for two years and most of the time it has good or average signal. But not what I need. I should have at my phone enough bars to talk, get lot's of drop calls also.

My Sanyo phone will not hold a Sprint network connection. A call to Sprint resulted in their testing the closest tower for reception, finding problems, and supposedly making some corrections. My phone still will not hold a Sprint connection.

I just got T-Mobile because of how good there prices were. I pull in my driveway and have 3-4 bars out of six. And go inside and how many bars does the phone have 0. It still says T-Mobile and I have never droped a call and there has been no static, but sometimes in my sunroom and in my office I will catch it saying searching. So I well?
