Using an older-model phone, cannot send or receive from inside any buildings, with spotty reception outside buildings. I'm dumping AT&T and looking for something that gets strong reception inside buildings on UTC campus. Any recommendations? I've narrowed it down to T-Mobile and Verizon. Pros? Cons?

I have had problems with Sprint since moving to Chattanooga. Lots of dropped calls and I can rarely get more than 1-2 bars. When I call customer service, they babble and tell me they'll report it to Technical support for troubleshooting but it never seems to help. I lived in another area near the Ridge cut it and was pretty bad too. Seems like Sprint does not care about a presence in this area, unlike Atlanta where service was good.

This phone sucks about once a week the phone turns itself off for no reason then you have to turn it back on and waite 5 to 10 minutes to get a single again a friend of mine has the same problem... customer service is awfull the store is only helpfull up till you by the phone... wish I would of stayed with Sprint singal strenght was bad their to but at least they gave desent customer service

I love Verizon Wireless. It's the best phone service I've ever had. It works great on top of Signal Mountain.

I was getting 1 or 2 bars until Nov. now I have 0 reception in my house. I have to go for a drive in my car to use my cell phone, as soon as I get in my driveway, I begin to get static and drop droppin of words till I actually drop the call. This sucks!

I never get a good signal at home, have call Cingular, they have no answer. I will be changing my service to someone else soon. Have has this one for two years and most of the time it has good or average signal. But not what I need. I should have at my phone enough bars to talk, get lot's of drop calls also.

I just got T-Mobile because of how good there prices were. I pull in my driveway and have 3-4 bars out of six. And go inside and how many bars does the phone have 0. It still says T-Mobile and I have never droped a call and there has been no static, but sometimes in my sunroom and in my office I will catch it saying searching. So I well?

With Cingular I got about three to four bars on my Nokia 3220. Great call quality there as long as you have at least three bars, but when you get down to about two then you will start to break up.

At Brainerd rd. and ridgefield cir. I get about 2-0 bars there. But never has it sayed no service. I guess with Verizon though, it does not matter how many bars you have as long as it says Verizon Wireless, there is always going to be Crystal Clear Calls.

Good in the Red Bank area, Poor in hixson, Can't use in the North Chatttanooga area. I just rented an apartment that I can't even use my phone.
