3G reception has been awful since August 2011. Dr.about 3 miles in any direction, and it is fine.

3 times out of 4 I cannot place a call because there is no reception. When I do make a connection, it goes in and out or the call is dropped. I don't think I've had a successful phone conversation in the 3 months I've lived here.

I have Sprint and have always had good service until lately. We have 4sprint phones in our house. They are almost always roaming and cutting in and out. Some dead zones in the house. My husband has AT&T iPhone and has no issues at home.

We were always really happy with Cingular, but since the merger with AT&T, we have noticed a steady decline in reliability and reception. Within the past year alone, service inside our house has dropped from 1-2 bars of coverage to no coverage 70% or more of the time. We even have poor reception in our yard. This is both with newer 3G enabled phones (Samsung and SE models) as well as our older, non-3G Nokia phones. Friends even complain of having poor / no service when they come by to visit. AT&T has been of little help either, only offering a one time $50 credit to my account for my troubles and saying we can purchase a Microcell (which only broadcasts in 3G). If it wasn't for the ability to purchase and use unlocked smartphones to avoid having to purchase a data plan, and the fact that I travel worldwide, we would have jumped ship long ago.

My wife and I had two different phones on two different Verizon wireless accounts - and when we moved to Kimbrough Woods in early 2008 we had a solid five bars of reception on both phones. About four months ago both phones dropped to 2 bars, with interspersed periods of 0-3 bars. Every call is dropped exactly two minutes in. A month ago the coverage dropped to zero bars and Verizon confirmed that there was an temporary outage - but now the phone slips into zero bars for hours at a time - which drains the battery and kills the phones. I'm not sure how our home only recently became a dead zone. It may just be new construction - though I've seen none around. In this bad economy, I would not be surprised if they've lowered the standards of their towers to cut costs. People are cutting many nonessential services - like cellphone accounts - and I'm sure Verizon would have to start cutting costs to compensate. If they'd produce just one less of their commercials touting omniscient network coverage they could probably still make a great profit. All conjecture of course. The only thing I know for sure is that our service has degraded to the point that it is intolerable. Luckily my contract is up - so now I have to decide who to go to next.

one to two bars outside, depends on location. Inside zero to one bar, calls successful maybe 90 percent of time. 2008, AT&T slightly better than old Cingular.

Switched over to Verizon because Cingular / AT&T was terrible. Reception was fair up until about 2 months ago. Now, I get dropped calls EVERY time I call and / or receive a call! I may as well have AT&T; it's no better. Called Verizon and they sent out a tech and confirmed reception here stinks. So much for their advertisements.

T-mobile doesn't work so well in Germantown. 1 to 2 bars occasionally outside. Not good on first floor inside house. Literally seems to depend on direction of the wind... . :(

Inside standing by metal hood for cook-top I can usually get 1 to 2 bars. Rest of house is lower or 0. Outside is between 0-2. Visitors and service people have same problem with other major brands.

Absolutely Horrible. Cingular was bad, AT&T is worse. Fewest dropped calls because calls never get completed. I have to go outside and stand in a particular spot to get reception.

Little to no reception at my home and home office unless I go outside and to a specific corner in my yard. This is terrible especially trying to do business. I use the phone in warehouses for business all over town with decent sucess, but not at my home / office. Not being able to use my business phone in my office is very poor!

Had Cingular switch primary signal back to AT&T Wireless after conversion to Cingular. Got no reception when Cingular was primary. Get 1-2 bars with AT&T Wireless as primary.
