I left Sprint 9 years ago for Verizon Wireless because it picked up at my home. I have been more than pleased until they launched 4G all service was lost in our area. It's gone to total crap and we live in Metropolitan Davidson County area. I went from having 4 bars in my house to half of one and I have to talk in my yard. This is ridiculous. Verizon took part of the government bailout for rural cellular infastructure development and our neighborhood got scaled back. WTF? The thing that annoys me the most is they will NOT admit they have screwed everyone in our community overnight. They said this has always been a trouble area. BULLS**T. I have had excellent service for 9 years and overnight all the 4 phones of all different types and brands, the service has gone to crap. I mine as well have Sprint with an Airrave in my home and pay less money. Screw you Verizon. I am reporting this to the FCC.

No reception at all in home. Lucky to get 1 bar outside the house on a good day. Switched to AT&T to get better reception, what a mistake that was.

Joelton To Nashville / I-24, Joelton, TN 37080 |

I drive I-24 to work every day. From I-24, Exit 35 in Joelton to Briley Parkway, Cingular drops me 3 times. Once it drops you (with no bars), then, it gives you full bars (of course, after you've lost your call). That is all interstate (with several towers around)and it's very aggrevating! I might expect that out on state route roads, way out of town, but not on a major interstate in a large city.
