Had a Blackberry for several months here and had no problems to speak of... recently upgraded (LOL) to iPhone 3G tonight nothing... no calls in or out... not sure if it's the phone or service... but I am not happy... .anyone else out there with problems during this time frame... 5 / 18 / 2011

I was looking on this site for the closest tower to my home. I find ATT does not have any towers in Kingsport. No wondere I am having problems. 80% of the house gets zero bars. Will replace in the next week. Bye Bye AT&T.

Living in the Ridgefields subdivision in Kingsport -- I have two bars in the house, sometimes drops to one. Voice calls are fine 90-95% of the time. However, only holds onto 3G about 50% of the time, then drops to EDGE. I have Wi-Fi in the house, so that's no problem for me. AT&T really needs another tower (or two) in Kingsport. Verizon is 5 / 5 bars (Moto Droid) at the same spot.

I have suncom and get very little signal in house. I signed up for unlimted minutes and did away with my land line, but now I get charged for out of area minutes. I will cancel this service as soon as my contract is up. Friends have Verizion and get excellent coverage.

Don't buy Cingular phone if you live in the sullivan gardens area.

Had good repeption one year ago. Recption has gone to nothing now. NO signal along Sullivan gardens parkway. If you live near the middle school don't get cingular.

Cingular reception is great until you get off of I81 at EasternStar Rd.then it fades horribly!
