I was in town to celebrate Christmas and wanted to update my mothers cell phone. I ended up switching carriers, getting new phones and meeting the most knowledgeable people in the business. I can't say enough about Ben Kozick, and Lauren and Klye from the knoxville store. In their words, “we will make it happen”... ..and they do! Go see them they prove they want your business over and over again! Kat

Not a particularly strong signal (2 -3 bars), but Sprint is very consistent where I live. No dropped calls ever, and signal clarity is very good. What's funny is that the other side of Cedar Bluff has a signal twice as strong but no faster.

AT&T sucks in this area. I have no cell coverage in the house, and it's spotty outside the house. I have to drive at least 71 / 2 miles before I can make a call. My contract is up as of June 29, 2017 so I will be shopping around. I have had AT& T for several years but I believe they have lost me as a Customer.

Switched to T-Mobile a few weeks ago after 16 years of being raped by AT&T. T-Mobile signal was weak in my house (as was AT&T's). Called them and they sent me an in home signal booster overnight at no charge. Signal is perfect now... better than I ever had with AT&T. Coverage out and about town is great too. My only regret is not making the change sooner!

Sprint is always talking about upgrading their network. I remember when they finally got their 3G running well. I had great signal. The problem is that only months later 4g LTE started and I was back to square one (or two bars) pretty much anywhere I go in Northwest Knox. West Knox is barely better. The only time I get great speed is when I'm attached to wifi. Hopefully it will improve, but I'm afraid LTE may be on its way out by that time.

Our side of the street gets hardly any coverage. As I drive away from my house, my texts start rolling in.

I switched from Sprint because I never had LTE anywhere and Tmoble is just as bad now I have no data 50% where Sprint did and most of the time and when I do I have 4G about 30% the other 20% it's on Edge (2G) and voice service drops or can't complete calls all the time no matter where I am and forget service inside any building I get no service in Carolina Ale House at all. This service is terrible if you're looking for reliable service you can count on this is not it.

Sprint service is much better in Knoxville than Chicago but way too pricey. I'm looking to change carriers or at least get a cheaper plan. So many hidden fees.

Tower is less than 1 / 8 mile from home. I live at the top of a hill! 1 Bar if lucky. LTE cuts out or incredibly slow then, data drops to 4G, then E (Edge), then GPRS, then NO SERVICE. :(
