Best coverage out of everyone on Chertpit... I have tried them all!

Almost great coverage in these areas. I am thinking about going with Cingular because of the iPhone and because Sprint doesn't offer the Blue KRZR with 2 megapixel camera.

I have no less then 10 dropped calls a day with the A900 phone. The phone has been checked out by a tech who told me the phone has low reception. To make matters worse, the battery has a very small life span. I am lucky if I can get through the day without charging up in the car. The reception is horrible in and around Knoxville and worse in Seiverville, P.Forge area.

I work all over Knoxville up to Johnson City. The reception is great! There are only two cell tower drops... Cherokee Bluff and Dandridge but coverage is good otherwise

I get pretty much perfect coverage in all of northeast Knoxville from downtown all the way through Halls. Haven't had any issues with dropped calls within the city limits but reception does start getting spotty farther up Tazwell Pike (towards the Union Co. line between Tazwell and Hwy. 33). About the only area I *always* have trouble in is Chert Pit Rd. in West Knoxville. The road itself is alright, just the subdivisions off the road (namely westop) have major issues because of poor tower placement and tons of hills. US Cellular works fine in the same areas, for the most part.

I have to say after switching from Cingular to Sprint wow what a difference!I have full signal with Sprint most of the time and great signal where I had little to none with Cingular.Great in building coverage with Sprint.West Knoxville.
