Alot of low and or coverage gaps on Western Ave. all the way to Oakridge Hwy.In building coverage in theis are is non existant inmo

I get 2 bars max and have to be in a certain part of the house to talk. Then when I am on the phone in the "good" spot, phone will cut out service and say call was lost. Verizon is good in turkey creek but not at my house.

This area is a known covergae hole for Verizon according to techs

My phone never drops service. The phone, as well as the service are highly recommended

I seem to get random periods of reception in my apartment and the surrounding area. If I find an area that gets reception, I have to stand absolutely still and talk. If I begin moving, the call drops. It is very annoying and disruptive.

I have not had any problems with coverage, except when I go to and from work. On Edgemoore in Oak Ridge. It is horrible.

I had AT&T until Cingular took over due to the dropped calls all over the area. I switched to Verizon (2 accounts with 4 lines each for Family Sharetalk). Verizon drops calls all over Knoxville but most important as soon as I turn off of Maynardville HWY and drive the 1 / 2 mile to my house I lose my call. The phone will ring but I am unable to answer it. I can get text messages at home (can't send them) but no matter how I hang my head, no matter where I stand, no matter how hard I try I can see the red light flashing on a tower behind me off of Majors Rd and I still can't get my phone to allow me to make a call!

No reception is common. As I work here, it is unreliable to use a cell phone in this location

Droped calls are a daily occurrance. The network is overloaded the majority of attempted calls made from Sevierville. No cell reception in parts of west Knoxville. Very frustrating! Plan on changing carriers due to these issues.

I've had great reception with my (old) Motorola StarTac, but the antennae has now broken off for the second time, taking part of the case with it, so it's time for a change. I will probably stay with Verizon; I've had others and they're worse. My wife has an LG phone (also with Verizon) which drops calls all over the place, so I think it's the PHONE, not the service. We've used Verizon all over the country (business travel and in an RV) and it's been quite good; one no-service corridor along I-81 to Pennsylvania for about 20 miles, but otherwise it's excellent. We're "down" Wright's Ferry Rd.in the Rocky Hill area, so reception in our neighborhood isn't as good as it is up on Northshore Dr. where it is basically bulletproof, even for her crappy LG phone.

Verizon Wireless delivers better service than ANY OTHER carrier. I have had several others and NOT ONE could even touch what VZW gives. Verizon also has their own billing, sales, and service departments in each store. They are truly a ONE STOP SHOP. With other carriers, they charge to take your money at the store. They can't service your phones, and their sales staff is not even close to the professionalism of Verizon's staff. I mostly deal with the VZW store on Callahan across from Lowes and they have been GREAT! Thank you VZW for "HEARING ME NOW"

The only company that works is verizon. sprint failed, US cellular didn't even try, AT&T works for 30 seconds at a time, cingular acused me of trying to make international calls, cricket actually worked ok. Verizon is worth the higher price, I just wish they'd sell their phones cheaper. I could get the same phone from US cellular for free but for Verizon I had to pay $39.99. But atleast it works.

the last time i had a reception problem, all the street signs around me were written in farsi.

Verizon is hands down the best in the country, I travel all over and have had every other major carrier out there... no contest. Consumer reports and JD Power are right on with their studies. Rankings of what I've used: 1.Verizon - Head and shoulders above the rest. 2. AT&T - Good in Knoxville. Nationwide not so good. 3. Nextel - If your not on an interstate you S.O.L. 4. Cinglar - Lots of holes everywhere, reception is horrible. 5. Sprint - Horrible coverage. Nickle and dime you to death, worst customer care in the business.
