Reception seems to have gotten worse in the last year or so. In the house I used to get 2-3 bars and could make and recieve calls. Now I get 0-2 most of the time and lots of dropped calls. The Sequoyah Hills neighborhood assn has been fighting (successfully) the installation of a cell tower in the neighborhood for years so don't know it there is much hope for improvement. Ironic since most residents and their kids have cell phones.

Anywhere from 0 to 2 or 3 bars max. It has always been very poor on Montlake Dr.even though there is a tower almost directly across Aloca Hwy. Who knows.

Have had USCellular service since 1994. Can't remember the last time I had a dropped call while in Knox Co. Just wish they had a better selection of phones.

U.S. Cellular has the best coverage by far all over Knoxville and even the surrounding rural areas. It's so dependable I got rid of my landline years ago. Not to mention the customer service is actually very, very helpful.

I had AT&T until Cingular took over due to the dropped calls all over the area. I switched to Verizon (2 accounts with 4 lines each for Family Sharetalk). Verizon drops calls all over Knoxville but most important as soon as I turn off of Maynardville HWY and drive the 1 / 2 mile to my house I lose my call. The phone will ring but I am unable to answer it. I can get text messages at home (can't send them) but no matter how I hang my head, no matter where I stand, no matter how hard I try I can see the red light flashing on a tower behind me off of Majors Rd and I still can't get my phone to allow me to make a call!

I work all over Knoxville up to Johnson City. The reception is great! There are only two cell tower drops... Cherokee Bluff and Dandridge but coverage is good otherwise

I have had Cricket for 1.5 years and still can't get service. Cricket SUCKS because they won't let me out of my stupid 2-yr. Contract. There company lies to you telling you can get service anywhere in Knoxville. I would never recommed Cricket to anyone.
