Coverage is great in the Lenoir City area and west Knoxville. I have friends with AT&T who complain all the time about dropped calls. CDMA > GSM in this area, hands down.

Switched from AT&T to Sprint. Hated to lose my iPhone and still have mixed feelings about it but after 10 years I went with a less expensive carrier. Numerous problems dropping calls in Loudon Co. with AT&T, particularly around Sugarlimb Rd., spots on Tellico Pkwy, and oddly enough, Rock Springs at McGhee blvd. Sprint seems better everywhere else, but svc. sucks here at my house, less than 1 / 2 mile from I-75. No bars or maybe 1-2 if I go outside. Need QoS for work...guess I'll pony up $500 for a repeater so my phone works at home.

Never had a problem at my home. Great reception all over Loudon county. Forget Verizon, they won't ever get my service.

After switching from another provider which offered excellent coverage in this area, I am very disappointed with AT&T Wireless.

Calls dropped on property - no signal - stand in the same spot and full signal appears. If no signal does not ring - so miss calls. The only reason we stay is because of traveling / roaming convenience. Used in Washington DC Metro - worked there! Just not in my home :( Battery does not seem to keep charge long enough [LG].
