I have had Sprint for several years, using multiple phones. Call reception has been great all over Shelby County, but Sprint's 3G network tends to be slower than other carriers (regardless of the city). Sprint is rolling out their 4G LTE market in Memphis by the end of 2012, so data speeds will be much faster. Again, call quality has always been great.

The regular telephone reception is just downright embarrassing. I want out of my contract now! I hate to say this... but... I'd be willing to switch to my arch-nemesis, AT&T

Being I have been with Sprint, Verizon, and am now an AT&T customer, I can say honesty if you work around macon and have Verizon or Sprint you will have no reception at the corner by walgreens or anywhere really around town. I say AT&T is a little high but I always can use my phone which means alot because I work in computer repair and never know what I may run into. Btw if you have been with Sprint less then two mouths they have a contract test run you have two mouths to decide if you like them.GOODLUCK... Hopefully you can get out that contract.

I don't understand the issues. I have excellent coverage throughout the city. Of course, reception decreases when in certain buildings, etc. but that is expected. I also have traveled extensively (i.e. Minneapolis, New York City, Kentucky, Atlanta, etc.) and always have good coverage. I even got Edge coverage when out in the country in Kentucky and was 15 miles from any town and 45 miles from a large city. Tha is amazing.

Very, very poor reception even in the building downtown where I work. Was at Methodist Germantown recently on first floor near the ER. I had no signal. My daughter who has Verizon, let me use her Droid that had 3 BARS! I have the G1 and we also have several flip phones made by different manufacturers, that also perform the same as the G1. Spoke with T-Mobile several times who haven't done anything. Spoke with a rep recently, who was very blunt when I told her of the problems we were having and that the techs who were suppose to had called me never called. She told me "well seems nothing can be done, that's why they never called you".

Sometime when I get a text message with a web address or phone number in it and I go to open or call it, the phone shuts down and reboot itself. I take it is a software problem that my come from the incompatablity of the MicroSD card. When using the wed the you can only download files that 2MB OR 2000KBs. Unlike the Zm6 that will go on until you you run out of memory. The specs say there are 120Mb interal memory some how the one I buy had 170Mbs interal memory. Well the bottom line to the Motorola Hint QA30 is its like like a box of chacolates you dont know what you're get.
