Being I have been with Sprint, Verizon, and am now an AT&T customer, I can say honesty if you work around macon and have Verizon or Sprint you will have no reception at the corner by walgreens or anywhere really around town. I say AT&T is a little high but I always can use my phone which means alot because I work in computer repair and never know what I may run into. Btw if you have been with Sprint less then two mouths they have a contract test run you have two mouths to decide if you like them.GOODLUCK... Hopefully you can get out that contract.

So, I switched my whole family over to Verizon today. The service is great! Data is fast, and the calls are so clear! This is what my 2 brothers families, my sisters family, and my family got (all together we got 4 family share plans): 4 BlackBerry tours 2 BlackBerry Storms 6 enV Touchs 4 enV 3 2 Motorola w755's 1 Samsung Rouge. Verizon works really well. Very happy for the change!

I had a Razr and it picked up horrible service. I got this LG phone at is picks up full service almost every where I go. Im in the same area as you (comment below). I think its your phone because mine did the same thing. Now I have this new phone and its wonderful! I would suggest you geting a new phone.

No reception in Hedgemoor area. Most of the time, no reception around Wallace Rd. No reception on Goodlett near Walnut Grove. Little or no coverage around White Station / Park area. Verizon is very spotty around east Memphis--lots of dropped calls. My hubby has At&T and has great service.

Wish iPhone was available through Verizon, but after reading how bad AT&T coverage is, I will stick to my non iPhone verizon. I love verizon, just do not like their hardware selection.

Verizon Wireless Coverage is the best in Memphis! Its the best in the State of TN, I even get grat coverage in Mississippi! Had Cingular / AT&T and Sprint and HATED them, I never had good service.

I love Verizon. It is the only consistent service available in the Shelby Forest area, which is fairly rural. Of course a good phone helps. My only problem is reception in my den which has a metal roof. Byt compared to the service provided by Cingular, I'll deal with it. One of my brothers has Cellular South and doesn't even get a signal at all.

I love Verizon, I get coverage in the city, when fishing in Pickwick, or in Sardis. Whether in the city or the country, it is the way to go. Verizon is definitely the best service provider

Never had a problem with reception. Always have a signal, rarely drop calls.

Constantly drops calls inside the house. Outside is ok. Overall, I have had the best coverage so far with Verizon.

Better than what my friends have. I use to have to get in the car and drive down the street to get and keep a signal when I had cingular. Thanks for this service, I will share it with others.

I have never had a dropped call. I am the only one to get calls in the elevators, basements, hallways, etc. I will be with Verizon for as long as I live here.

Reception is normally fine, but will go from 60 to 0 in half a second. Example: while parked at Wolfchase Mall, I had five drop-offs within 30 minutes. When not dropping off, the phone showed that the signal was at full strength. At my office, which is near Raines and Mendenhall, I have no reception problems at all.

Verizon is by far the best service in the Memphis area and in the surrounding county area. Downtown even with the high rise buildings I still don't have to extend my antenna on my phone.
