I love Verizon, I get coverage in the city, when fishing in Pickwick, or in Sardis. Whether in the city or the country, it is the way to go. Verizon is definitely the best service provider
We just moved to a new apartment and we get 0-2 bars of service in a 2 block radius. Even when we are at 2 bars, calls are spotty with drop-outs and the like. Most times we can't even dial out. We have been with T-Mobile for years, and this is the first trouble we've had.
cingular is pathetic in this area of town. I can't call from inside my house and have to stay by a birdbath in the backyard to get a decent signal. maybe its the trees but jeez one would thing that wouldn't cause the terrible singal strength.
T-Mobile service is great in the middle of the island. However, on the north end, it is quite poor. I owned a house on the central section and had great coverage (5), but recently moved to apartments on the north end and have very poor coverage (1 or 2) with two different phones.
Poor to non-existant coverage North of RR tracks on Broadway. Calls drop practically every time. Very poor coverage around Shadowlawn Middle School area.
Airport area is always 1 or 1 / 2 bar. When is Cingular going to improve reception here? Other employee complaints, lots of people have asked my company to drop Cingular as employee cell phone personal discount and go with Verizon. Cingular and Memphis Cable TV must be working together...
Over the years I have used most providers, Verizon has the best Memphis coverage. I travel a lot and I usually am able to use the cell phone. We have 1-800 #'s however it is cheaper and more convient to use the cell.
