In my home the signal averages 2 bars. There are two spots in the kitchen where there is a full signal. the calls drop if I dnot sit / stand still. There simialar service in the Whitehaven are
It seems that I always have % bars until I turn onto Hacks Cross from winchester, as soon as I'm in front of the Fieldstone apts I drop whatever call I am on. Other than that I love the service. Hurry up an get internet!
I was on AT&T wirless network with the V60 (quite basic phone) moved to a new apt only 50 feet from 3rd floor to 3rd floor and then Cingular acquired AT&T. Signal reception turned from good (5 bars) to poor (2 bars), breaks during calls and call drop outs. Outside signal strength is 5 bars to 3 bars mostly, spotty reception and cell to cell handoff appears average at best while driving (reception gets damaged).
In the Memphis area, the combination of AT&T wireless and Cingular GSM towers really set this service off. The dual tower usage really cover a lot of area in Memphis and the surounding areas. I have had 3-4 dropped calls in the past 4 months of service and those are from within my home where my signal drops.
Never lost a call from my end- worked in West Memphis and all the way down to Coldwater / Independence area of Mississippi. Excellent service, all of the time.
Reception goes in and out inside city, won't even work in the Bartlett area half of the time, calls are lost inside of my house, and forget about going further out of city limits, reception drops off past bridge or outside of Olive Branch.
Solid Reception city-wide. I rarely if ever drop a call. Even in surrounding rural areas I get a solid signal (almost complete coverage all the way north to KY, South to MS, and west to ARK
