Neither party on call can understand each other. Calls are very spotty inside house, and outside. Has gotten much worse over past 6 months. Cingular has no answers, claims service is great. I have 4 bars, but terrible service. Every airplane or train going by interferes with service. Cingular has swapped my phone - same problems. Calls may get better in other locations, but has to be near an interstate.

In the Memphis area, the combination of AT&T wireless and Cingular GSM towers really set this service off. The dual tower usage really cover a lot of area in Memphis and the surounding areas. I have had 3-4 dropped calls in the past 4 months of service and those are from within my home where my signal drops.

Very poor. Sometimes only 1 bar to no signal at all in this area. Get behind a building and signal goes all together.

I don't understand the issues. I have excellent coverage throughout the city. Of course, reception decreases when in certain buildings, etc. but that is expected. I also have traveled extensively (i.e. Minneapolis, New York City, Kentucky, Atlanta, etc.) and always have good coverage. I even got Edge coverage when out in the country in Kentucky and was 15 miles from any town and 45 miles from a large city. Tha is amazing.

Solid Reception city-wide. I rarely if ever drop a call. Even in surrounding rural areas I get a solid signal (almost complete coverage all the way north to KY, South to MS, and west to ARK

Reception is normally fine, but will go from 60 to 0 in half a second. Example: while parked at Wolfchase Mall, I had five drop-offs within 30 minutes. When not dropping off, the phone showed that the signal was at full strength. At my office, which is near Raines and Mendenhall, I have no reception problems at all.

Signal is average standing in a field, but in a building or moving through the area it comes and goes.

Up until Oct 09 I had decent reception on Cricket..phone and wireless broadband. In Nov 09 the reception nose dived. Its almost impossible to get signal in the residential areas.
