50 / 50 coverage: sometimes I can make a call; sometimes cannot. Sometimes I will be able to get a text even if there are no bars. My wife has a cheaper Samsung..usually has 2 bars more than mine.

There is zero reception in the basement and only one bar in the house. The entire town of Morristown, TN has very little reception for AT and T, which surprises me because we just recently opened a rather large AT and T store in our town.

I can't understand why all these people constantly "complain" about there cell phone coverage. If you look into the actual technology of cellular telephones then you will know that the technology is nothing more then FM Frequencies. Which of course in East Tennessee with all our vast mountains and hills... There is going to be dead areas all over the place. I guess they could put up a thousand more towers and still there would be thousands complaining. It doesn't matter who the carrier is... The simple fact remains. FM Frequencies are soon going to be a thing of the past. You heard of XM or Sirius radio? I am betting that Satellite Phones will soon be a big thing. Until then... Deal with the fact that you cell phone is going to have bad areas. It's kinda strange because FM Frequencies use to be nothing more then radio and it advanced to cellular telephones. Now we have satellite radio and soon will be satellite phones. Yes, I know satellite phones have been around, but they are far too expensive for the common joe. Godbless
