I have emailed Cingular two times and finally talked to a person on my LANDLINE. She talked me through some tests, she had someone else to reset both of my phones, nothing helped. She said that there was no cell site issues, but this poor signal has only been this way for about two or three weeks. Before this, I always had full bars on both of our phones. Something has changed with there service. Buy the way, my phone work find else where in Murfreesboro, TN

I cannot get reception at work. I have to go outside to use the phone and even then my calls get dropped all the time. I really want to switch carriers, but just signed a 2 year deal, plus most of my friends and family are Cingular.

We are supposed to have Mobile to Mobile, free long distance, etc - obviously cell one doesn't play well with others. This has been a frustrating vacation. As long as you stay in Alaska I would rate excellent. If you plan to travel and use a cell phone... look for options.

I have used AT&T, T-Mobile and now with Sprint I have a great service in my apt and also I love to text in the class room but with AT&T and T-Mobile I dont have service in the class. Sprint has a good deal with unlimited datd 3G in where I live which is Murfreesboro and Nashville.

I have used Verizon, Sprint and Nextel in my area, and Sprint is by far the best. I recently traveled from South Florida up here to Tennessee and I had dependable service the entire way here. I get great coveage everywhere in my house, and at work. Telenav works perfectly all around middle Tennessee. No dropped calls yet.

The only reason I went with Sprint is because my brother worked for the company and said that they use the same towers as Verizon. Granted, Sprint was an upgrade in coverage over Cingular, but I still drop calls all of the time. I work in Brentwood on the bottom floor of a two story office building and I have no service at all. I can't wait until my contract is up so that I can switch to Verizon.
