OK, Bell Meade has the money from what I can tell to not allow towers in their community. Driving from Bell Meade Blvd. and cutting over to Old Hickory right in front of Christ Presbyterian Church and Academy, the signal drops every time.
Near West End and 31st, corner of Vanderbilt Univ. Our house is in a Cricket dead zone caused by multipath interference (American towers, new condos). Complaint to Cricket was ignored by Cricket.
Traveling home on Edmondson Pike my calls are dropped from Blackman Rd.to Old Hickory Blvd. Finally found an honest Verizon person that says the Treo 600 was not as good as the 650 and the 700 and up series has better connections. Also, Burkitt Rd.from Nolensville Pike to Old Hickory Blvd.exit at Interstate 24 has horrible reception and frequent dropped calls
There are several places in the Greenhills neighborhood that my call drops everytime. Woodmont and Belmont and near Belmont Univ on Belmont Ave. I also can't make calls on Trousdale in the Crieve Hall area.
I can't get a signal well enough to sustain a call. Almost every call is dropped. I have to put my phone on roaming and then I can get a signal. On roaming I get 1 or 2 bars out of 4. This area is in a valley, but is near I-24.
I used to have Verizon and loved it, but then switched to T-Mobile because I wanted more minues for less money. Big mistake. T-Mobile doesn't have service at my house and they wouldn't let me out of my contract because of it. I'm very frustrated with this but have researched and I can't find another carrier with as many minutes for this cheap. Has anyone had luck with adding additional cellular boosters or some such product?
Calls are dropped everytime I approach this intersection. I do not receive calls in the house, but once I step outside, I can recieve and make calls. Its too cold to be outside on a phone. Please fix the problem.
Good service around I-65 but I commute from Clarksville and approx. 50% of the time I can't get signal along I-24. Have tried 3 different Motorola phones during the course of my plan and I must say they all stink, and so does Cingular-- the comments about horrible customer service and weird billing issues are no joke. Looking forward to switching at the end of this contract. I think 2 tin cans connected with a string would be preferable to what I've had the last couple of years...
