I have had T-Mobile for years with no problems, however within the last year my bars have dropped from 4 to 2 on average and I experience dropped calls all over Nashville, especially at my home. It's not the phone, my daughter had a different model and had the same experiences. She now has Sprint and likes it. However I can say that in Chicago I have absolutely no problem with T-Mobile.
We are on the ground floor. My co-workers have Verizon and their cell phones can get calls all day long. I have Cingular and can get no calls. Once or twice a week it may ring but I can't answer it because the caller can't hear me.
Cingular is the worst! driving from the Belmont area to the West End area I drop calls 4-5 times! The intersections include Blair Blvd.and 21st Ave S, Blakemore and Natchez Trace, Wedgewood and 17th Ave S., etc. Everytime I see their billboard I'm infuriated at how it is such a lie.
According to T-mobile, I should be receiving 2 bars at my home which is a half mile from this intersection. BUT, that is not so... .I receive the ole "NO SERVICE" and the infinite "searching" for network msg. Tried upgrading phones, but no improvement. Changing carriers soon. However, I am please with the reception in all other areas of Nashville. Only exp problems at / near my home. Apparently, one of the few dead spots with T-Mobile.
