In the Cancer Center (PRB), I get little to no service in interior rooms and hallways. I get good service in external rooms on the west side of the building. Through Robinson, I get a better signal. Probably due to where the hallway is. Usable signal in MCN. Almost nothing in MCE (with my previous phone).
Excellent signal inside and out of my apartments. I got a unit on top of a hill so there aren't many terrain problems. Great reception around the area and into Bellevue, West Meade, and West Nashville.
We typically have no problems, but sometimes, our phones will drop calls for no apparent reason. We are on the very top of a hill and Channel 4 is on the next hill over. The only thing I can figure is their signals drown ours out on occassion.
Reception on direct connect goes in and out on 22nd ave near the vanderbilt hospital. Absolutely no service in any of the medical center. Service is very spotty in other building on campus.
This phone has always had poor reception. For the first year I was missing calls in east Nashville and south Nashville and did not even know it. The original phone I had with Sprint did not exhibit this problem. When I went back to Sprint with my complaint on the phone but they said the phone only had a 12-month warranty and I was in the 15th month of use. Since Sprint was not willing to rectify the problem I had only just confirmed as a phone problem I decided to change carriers. Sprint does great commercials but their real-world service leaves a lot to be desired. My 2-yr agreement runs out the end of March - then it's bye bye Sprint.
9 times out of 10 I am cut off at this intersection. This is the only area in Nashville / Hendersonville that I have a problem. I was with Cingular for several years and lost calls all over Nashville. Have been with Verizon for 5 years and overall have been very pleased with the service. Just wish their rates were better.
The phone revices really bad reception in Lewis, in and around mayfield. The phone will connect for about 1 minute and then drop the call. You can visually see the bars go down and drop the call. The phone was 400 dollars and I am very dissappointed.
I get one bar of service in my house if I get lucky and stay on that spot. If I try to move around it will drop my calls, it has too many dead zones. I would keep T-Mobile if it works good but I think I'm switching to Cingular soon, way better coverage. My sister got Cingular and it works fine.
Strong signal, but inbound audio is full of static x 3 months. Cingular customer service & tech support have been beyond worthless. Quality instantly improves when picked up by the towers at 100 / 70S split or I-40 / Old Hickory. I believe the tower at 100 and Natchez Parkway is the problem. Both phones on our plan lost inbound audio quality after 6 months of great service, and now have been problems since late June '04. I'll stay away from Cingular forever now just due to lack of competent customer service.
