Every now and then I get a bar but usually not a thing! Thinking of switching to AT&T because dad has excellent service for us out in the middle of nowhere!

We just switched to Verizon from AT&T. I have service all over the place. Some of these comments are old, and it seems Verizon has improved service a lot. I had service all the way down 64. Had 3G service too. Minor Hill, all over Lexington, Pulaski, etc. Very happy with Verizon.

I love Verizon for most places that I travel. Service is good in Elkton and most of the way to Pulaski, but there are one or two zones that you cross your fingers as you go through them. Also does well on the way to Huntsville or Athens. However at home I have 2 bars at best and if making a call, don't dare move! My husband also has verizon. He puts his phone in the window where there is good reception and makes calls using his earpiece. That works pretty good. My kids have Cingular / AT&T and have good reception all through the house. However they don't have reception at their father's house in GA. The further you go towards Prospect, the worse the service is for ALL carriers. It's in a hole!

signal goes in an out. Used to have service all the way to Pulaski, now my reception is spotty at best. What happened? Who knows, I've been asking them for weeks.
