Three to four bars on a nice clear day BUT... randomly on roam and most of the time about one bar. Data is awful callers can't hear me when I am talking so I have to move around to find the right spot.

I have had no problems with US Cellular. No dropped calls, no bad reception, nothing and that's saying something when you live around here. I was actually surprised that they had service here at all as it is generally a Midwest company. Their customer service is excellent. I only wish they'd expand their area since I will be moving soon and will no longer be able to use them.

I do not get very good reception at my home. Sometimes I get one bar depending on where I sit in my home. However, when I do get reception I can hear very clearly. I think we just need more towers.

Verizion gets good reception voice and data but AT&T and Sprint have a hard time making calls

I use to have AT&T service I could not get service in half the places I went so I switched to u.s.cellular. I have had very good reception with them in all areas. I even went to georgia and myrtle beach and got great service there also. the only thing I don't like is you have to sign a 2 year contract to even change your plans in any way. I am at the end of my contract and would like to stay with them but don't want to be locked into another contract but to change my plans I have to.

I have dropped a few calls here and there, but when I actually get to talk, the service has been great. There is always going to be a problem with service in the Mountains. But it seems to me like Verizon has made the best effort to help out it customers... ... .I feel like I should be paid for this... .JK!

I live near this intersection and get spotty reception of none to 2 bars depending on where I stand in the yard. Cingular got nothing at all within almost 6 miles of this area. There are hills all around, of course and I have yet to actually find the nearest cell tower. All my family uses Verizon so not willing to switch (if it'd help anyway), but I'm looking into an antenna booster.

Very poor reception after merger. Most often I get one bar and can't receive calls or call out. Too often I can't even get the network. On a not too frequent day I get two bars and call make and receive calls if I'm fast enough before the reception falls. To get a good signal and reception I have to drive four miles from my house toward Pigeon Forge. I live on a hilltop with no blockage but still cannot get a good signal with Cingular. Will be switching to Verizon when my contract is up. Family members sitting at my kitchen table receive full signal with great reception.

Started with AT&T and went with Cingular after the merger with hopes of getting better reception (they do say it is the largest network, blah, blah). Phone is virtually unuseable in Gatlinburg unless I am standing on one foot, an arm in the air, and my body wrapped in aluminum foil... It is bad enough that I am about to pay the $400+ (for two lines) to break the contract and go elsewhere... Would strongly recommend going to any other than Cingular in my area.
