I am only a quarter mile from Chapman hwy at home and I am always breaking up and losing calls. Been on phone with the "can you here me now" people and its still bad. I am leaving Verizon

Need better coverage for the money I pay. Have a 4 phone full data package. The air card is not any better.

We live in Seymour. We get very good reception outside,in our living room. The only disadvantage we have is in our bedroom. The reception is lousy. My wife mainly used the text service on her phone.The tower is only 2 miles from us and we get no reception in our apartment. Verizon said to us that they don't give us a guarantee for reception in building. At least we can text friends that we know. Overall, I have no problem except for brick buildings.

I agree with several comments I've seen, since the merge, my service has pretty much sucked at my house. I've had a v500, v600, V3, and Siemens S40. In parts of Seymour, I've had no problems, but at my house it went from bad to worse. I don't want to leave Cingular, but if they don't get their act together soon, I can't warrant paying for service I can't even use at my house. I've had several other problems too. Judging from their frequency and where and when they occur- they aren't reception related. Sometimes, when someone is calling my phone (or I'm calling someone else's Cingular phone in the area) the call won't go through, or I can even get a "this is no longer a working number" message, even though the number is good, and the phone is showing a signal. Bottom line, if they can get they're act together and finish merging the towers properly, Cingular looks the best on paper, but until that happens, you will probably want to go with someone else like Verizon or sprint.

I have nothing but Great Service I travel From Seymour to Knoxville everyday and Service along Chapman Hwy. is excellent. Also towards Pigeon Forge and Sevierville is great!
