needs reception... ... more bars in other places that already have signal

Cingular promised me when I signed up that they have the best coverage of any provider and were expanding coverage steadily over the next few years. BULL! Many places on my daily commute between Union City and Fulton I have zero service. Inside Wal-Mart it's hit and miss, same with Lowe's or any other store. Between Fulton and Martin forget getting a signal either. There are places in my house I get no signal and I can see the tower from my yard. Their claims of improved coverage are lies. Period. My contract expired last month and I refuse to sign a new one. I'll go month to month until a better option comes along. I have called them repeatedly complaining about coverage, or lack of it, and get the usual canned reply, "We are putting new towers in as fast as we can." And "We can't guarantee coverage." If you can't guarantee coverage then get out of the business of selling it. More bars in more places must mean beer because it does not mean phone service.

I just relocated to Union City. I have absolutely no signal here with my T-Mobile phone. It's unfortunate because everyone that I talk to has T-mobile, so we would call each other on mobile-to-mobile. I really liked T-mobile. Driving from Memphis, TN on Hwy. 51, I have service until I reach Dyersburg.

Cingular, as promised, has installed TWO new antennas in the Union City area. I now get decent reception in wal-mart and a little less than decent reception at my home on Lynn St. Service is getting better, an I no longer have complaints. Thanks

Once you leave the business portion of Union City South bound there is no reception until you reach Martin, then it is a very brief signal. until it drops again. Signal reaquires in business district of Milan

There is ZERO reception here on lynn street.
