Great signal. have had no problems in allen as yet

indoors no problem easy 5 bars, never dropped a call on my end.

Reception was not good with the Motorola phones we were using, but with the Sony Z520A with the loop antenna reception is great

Great reception. When I first moved here about a year and half ago reception was horrible on all networks. Now most are good and verizon is just excellent.

I have not had any problems with reception on my phone in the Allen, Plano, McKinney area. Even inside buildings I get 4-5 bars.

Coming off of 2 years of absolutely horrible AT&T GSM service, I have to say that with the merger, the combined Cingular and AT&T GSM networks are finally beginning to perform reliably. I was never able to use the my phone at home indoors on the AT&T network, but now with both the networks available, I have reliable inhouse GSM reception. If you make the transition from AT&T to Cingular, be SURE and get the new quad-band GSM phones as this will ensure that you can connect to ANY GSM network in the world (literally), and given that between AT&T and Cingular, they have used 3 of the 4 bands somewhere in the US alone, that capability is important.

I don't know if it's the network or the phone. Unable to receive pictures or connect to internet. Went to AT&T store to complain and 3 other people were in for the same reason. Called customer service 2 days later and they showed no network problems (imagine that). Next day all seemed to work. Makes me wonder if they hold service until you complain. Do not get a LG shine I have dropped calls several times a week and the phone's software is terrible.

Actually reception is not the problem, but the audio quality is very poor. That has been true throughout my entire experience with T-Mobile and Motorola, everywhere.

Might have 1 bar if right outside, inside house 0 bars, continuous droped calls.

Many dropped calls per day and sporadic web access. I have to walk out to the front yeard or in a specific spot in my back yeard to have even a good chance of a successful call. I had this problem with my Sprint phone 8 years ago when I moved into my neighborhood and switched to Verizon because of it. My new job requires a Sprint contract and I would have thought that coverage had improved in the intervening years. Nope. Very frustrating.

Very poor reception outside the house, virtually no reception inside the house. Sprint says we are more than one mile from the nearest tower.

Very spotty signals on certain spots along Alma between 190 George Bush Turn Pike all the way to 121.

We have two of the same phone. One is usable in the house, but with weak signal that drops out if you walk around. The second phone gets no signal indoors in this neighborhood except for roaming.

Extremely poor reception from not only Cingular, but in the past T-Mobile, Sprint. Probably all lease from the same cell tower. Based on tower map, we are probably the furthest location from all 3 neighboring towers. Only 3 or 10 calls get through and if they do, half of them are terrible quiality.

Signal fluctuates between 0 and 3 bars. Drops calls a lot, cuts out on conversations and is unreliable.
