Zero reception at his intersection in all directions. Given that is is quite possibly the major intersection in Amarillo, you would think that Western Wireless (soon to be AllTel) would provide coverage here. I assure you, as a Western Wireless (AllTel) subscriber, this intersection and 8 blocks in every direction radiating from this spot are DEAD (no bars of reception) as a door nail!

Typically I have service on phone and internet no problem, occassionally dropped call or connection. Looking for better / cheaper service but not finding anything for sure better.

I'm on AT&T, and I absolutely love it, the data is fast because mine uses the HSPDA and I get full bars anywhere I go. i've been with them for four years and never had a problem with them.

I would always get dropped calls and unreliable service with AT&T. I switch all my lines (5) over to Verizon. The 3G service is faster too.

No Metro store to go to. No service to call. Phone will only dial certain numbers. Just moved here from DFW and Metro PCS is HORRIBLE at Best. Same goes for the customer service that does not care about our situation.

Excellent service, love the walkie talkie feature, the only down fall is that once you north or west or east no reception at all only if you south is excellent such as Hereford or lubbock

Horrible service! If anyone is looking to start new service or has AT&T stay with them! Sprint drops so many calls, horrible voice quality! Rude customer service!

Sprints network is horrible! I drop so many calls, and I have no 3G service here. It's sad. I will be switching to Verizon later today. There 3G network covers most of Texas and they are getting the Palm Pre Plus in Jan and the Palm Pixi with WiFi.

Been with Sprint for 8 years and the only problem i've had is over-the-phone cust service which is improved now that the operator you talk to is in america. ( India's operators spoke very clear english, but don't understand when you explain things... ... more then one occastion and friends with the same problem) Never had any droped calls, have had other calls bleed in on mine I travel often and never had a problem with coverage, except when in the mountains of colorado and that was several years ago before they had the towers they do now Evdo is going to be here the first half of next year, which is a must for any smart phone I can use wifi on my pre which in most cases faster than evdo Sprint reuses the same number for different area codes... ... .I get wrong calls from outta state often and I've become acustomed to putting 806 in front of all my contacts

Sprint still doesn't have EvDo coverage here. I checked the Sprint website and we do have 4G for the router, but not for the phones. Very frustrating.

i really dislike my phone and the service that comes with it. and I think that the people at Sprint all have to be high or something because they are just stupid. all of them... .i hate Sprint and I wish that I would have never left AT&T especially since they got 3g here.

1 Sprint still doesn't have EV-DO, they were supposed to be the first on this 3g bidness, now they are in last place. I'm saying goodbye to them, because they now suck. 2- Rocky is a scammer, don't buy one of his overpriced piece of crap used phones, check the local craigslist, ebay, or even check with carrier- a lot of time they sell cheap refurbs that they will back up.

thought i'd throw in my $.02 Generally get quite good cell coverage everywhere -in- Amarillo I travel(major areas only). Don't travel the panhandle much, so don't have reception worries there. Have the Novatel 620 wireless internet card. Unfortunately, AMA is not yet on EVDO, so it's really too slow for much web-based stuff, but ok for work things I do, plus minor email. Am waiting for EVDO to hit AMA, which is supposed to happen pretty soon. Midland just got some EVDO, so I suspect Sprint is working their way here... Interesting to note that the new Red Robin burger joint that just opened out at Soncy and I-40 has a free wifi setup for anyone to use. Quite nice, so just haul in a laptop and wifi card and you're in biz :) I go out there about once a week, early-mid afternoon, hang in the bar, and hey, i'm still 'working' :)

Disgusted with Sprint PCS cellular infrastructure and reception. I live Just outside of Amarillo and can't even get reception in my own home without constantly walking around and even then it sometimes drops. Heaven forbid if I turn my head sideways, the call drops.

Just moved here and T-Mobile drops EVERYWHERE!. Everyday on the way home from work my phone drops at I-40 and Washington. We're moving over by Soncy and I get 0 bars over there as well. Can't wait until the contract is up.

Live in Tradewinds subdivision and get poor reception with my phone here.
