Cingular drops calls all the time. Horrible reception at work (St. Edward's University on S. Congress) and also at home (Y at Oak Hill) The only time this phone gets decent reception is on the road when I dont want to be using it!

This is far from a cutting edge phone, but I have had excellent service throughout all of Central and South Texas with Sprint (and outward areas like Fredericksburg, Dripping Springs and South Padre Island), with only two "dead" spots I can think of - Mopac at 2222, and South Westgate at Willet Trail. Volume is very low, but I believe that is more the phone's fault than Sprint, as my old Motorola Startac was loud and clear.

I've traveled coast to coast as well and I've never had any problems. Every once in a great while I will find a dead spot. No real complaints so far.

Terrible signal for blocks in all directions. AT&T and Sprint serve this area reasonably well. T-Mobile is about to lose a customer.

Recepcion sucks, I should be getting paid to keep AT&T they like totally suck! Needless to say the continous calls to Customer Service because their computers keep on miscalculatin my minute usage, I'm about to sue them for ripping off customers big time. So far they have credited like $150.00 in 3 months of service. I do get my money back after having to argue with them for an hour and escalating my calls. Conclusion AT&T sucks as well as T-Mobile and I want my money back. Can some one offer me just a plain normal descent wireless service. That's all I want this Christmas.

Great reception around the house (top of hill), no big problems around town. Campus buildings = no go. Very few dropped calls.

I loved ATT wireless until Cingular took over two or three weeks ago. Now it totally sucks and I have drop calls all the time. Customer service now really doesn't give a crap for some reason, probably because of all the internal turmoil within the comapny from the take-over.
