I recently moved from Boston, and I have been with Sprint for 5 years. I have never seen such poor service in my life. I never have service, when I do I am constantly dropping calls. I'll be standing still and my call will drop. I am trying to find a way to get out of my contract. Add to that the radom charges, illegal taxes, and over priced plans, and I say RUN. Dont do it.
From within building at 8303 N. Mopac, reception is terrible with Sprint (max 2 bars and I have to search high and low - ~-99dB). Others have Cingular and get full service...
So there is an ice storm outside and the Cricket employees haven't showed up for work and I can not pay my bill and it is due and when I call customer service they can't help me but will charge a $65 reconnect fee because there is no one at the store to take my money today, but they will charge me later. how ya like them apples?
Those people are on fire, for $35 or $45 I get to call anywhere anytime. Since they started providing service in austin and san antonio in august of 2006, the whole neighborhood is going Cricket. GO CRICKET.
I lose calls all day, every day. If I have an important call, I have to go outside. Sprint service sucks. I'm going to contact my state representative. I'm sure that during the upcoming legislative session cell phone carriers will be asking for something. Contacting our representatinves is one way to show our displeasure with the whole system, no matter which carrier you use.
