Very poor ability to make and receive calls. Get dropped calls 90% of the time. Repeated calls to customer service provide no satisfaction. Looking for a new carrier ASAP!

Sprint has really improved in this area as far as reception in and outside my home. In the last 9 months or so the bars (at home) on my phone will be the least 3 or 4 out of 5 bars instead of none. I'm very happy with my service and stuck out the improvements of this rural area. The unlimited PCS to PCS calling is great to keep up with friends. Calling to San Antonio and Corpus Areas in my car as well as in my home is great too. I can say that things have improved. And with the maturity, this wireless phone company has come along way (Make sure that when they call you from this company on any given day that you tell them what can be improved I did and probably others). Knowing how to use your phone is a plus. The ladies at Radio Shack are very knowledgeable about the services.

Last year i used T-Mobile and the reception was absolutely horrible. Beeville is serviced by 3 T-Mobile towers with very good locations on the south side, around the center of town, and another on the north side about 2 miles north of the country club. However, I realized you can drive right by the tower and conversations are choppy and you can only hear every other word. My house is 3 miles east of Beeville and the service is non-existant. I complained to T-Mobile at least 2 dozen times and I they were very friendly and insisted that my information was helpful, but i saw no change. I changed to Cingular GSM last month and it has service where T-Mobile had piss poor service or no service. Cingular customer service is very dissapointing however and unwilling to negotiate with billing errors even when they realize they were at error. After 4 different calls they finally corrected their error. Beeville is still waiting for Verizon Wireless to come to town. Its within 30 miles of Beeville on all sides but north.

Verizon has very strong coverage in Beeville and Bee County. Works perfect in HEB Walmart and most area in the town. Works flawless leaving to Corpus and to Victoria. Verizon has one of the best rural coverages in Bee County with towers waaay out in the boonies here like in Normanna and on 59 near the Live Oak County line.
