I chose this location for my office because I can get 4-5 bars on my phone; internal offices (no view) get less bars, and many offices go down to 0-1 bars depending on which direction you are facing. I travel all over the country - GSM is still very patchy in the US, and I don't get the sense that TMobile are doing much to make this any better. I'm going to "test" Cingular for a month (I'll only lose about $35 doing so) to see how the reception compares in Bellaire, Houston, and the US. Why test Cingular? TMobile is pretty good, but I have to use their WIFI dervice for a reasonable speeed data plan. Cingular, Sprint and Verizon all have faster data plans, and Cingular supports GSM, which is my preference for a number of reasons.
