I bought my iphone with a 30 day trial 1year ago. I had never had good cell service at my home but AT&T said I could try it out. It worked GREAT... ..until March / April of this year. Suddenly, no service! After a month of the phone ringing but not being able to answer a call because the signal was too weak, we called service. After several calls and sending techs out to check the signal strenght and so on, we are told that they had given up the tower in our area. Now it is leased to Verizon! It is Sept and I still don't have service and I am still paying every month for full service. It is wrong for AT&T to pull the plug on service they contracted with me to supply. That is their end of the bargain... they give me service I pay my bill. Now, I have the AT&T iphone exclusive to their service, can't change even if I wanted and no service, no compensation in my bill, nothing. Big corporation abusing the small guy once again

I'm not sure what everyone else is complaining about but I have an iPhone with AT&T and I get PERFECT reception EVERYWHERE I go. I've never had a dropped call and I almost always have 3G everywhere. AT&T has great coverage and I am so much happier with them then I was with Sprint where I would most of the time be roaming and in my house had 1 bar or no signal. And it hasn't gotten any better around here because there have been people who brought their Sprint phones into my house and couldn't get service. AT&T IS THE BEST!

I live within plain sight of the cell tower and I get absolutely no signal in the house and 1 or 2 bars outside. I have tried multiple phones and all have the same issue. I am shocked that I can take my same phone into the Guatemalan jungle hours from the nearest town with electricity and I was able to get a signal... But in Boerne back here in the civilized world I can't get squat...

All of Cingular's phones.
I-10 / I-10, 1604, I-10 and 410, Fredericksburg Rd., Boerne, TX 78006 Wed May 03, 2006

Within a matter of 2 months I ordered and, could not use up to 5 phones from Cingular. The problem with these phones not having the reception and good service is that all of Cingulars phones are digital. However, all of Cingulars towers are analog and not digital so that is the problem with their phones. I spoke to their engineers and their tech's and they know about these problems but really do not care. I therefore, left Cingular and went with Sprint who has Dual band phones and I have great service and reception no matter where I go. I do travel alot since I am in sales and you just can not beat these Sprint phones. They have Dual bands and they are Tri-Band as well.

I am planning a move to Boerne this year. I was there a few weeks ago using my Cingular phone. In that area Cingular is using T-Mobile towers from Boerne through Kerrville on I-10. The reception wasn't as clear as I would like and seem to go from full tower to no tower in the center of town. Anyone have a opinion on the best provider in Boerne?

Occasionally may get 2 bars. 3 if the wind just right. I bought this phone hoping for 4g service. Now I would settle for good 3g. Usually text rather than talk, due to dropped calls

Phone began dropping voice calls about the time Sprint introduced the iphone 4s. Now hear 3 short beeps at start of voice calls. obvious problem with tower in boerne. Sprint technicians will not repair the service despite repeated requests. Other Sprint users in boerne have the same problem. Select another carrier for your cell phone service.
