Signal cycles from perfect to no signal making a phone call more than a few seconds virtually impossible.

This GAIT phone works great in all tower areas. There are very few places I do not recieve reception and I travel all over south and central Texas. Cingular has the best rate plans and the roll over min. plan is great. Hubby and I both have been with Cingular for 6 years and when we went on a trip that covered 6 different states we had service 90% of the time and with no roaming charges we could call just like we were at home.
