From 1431 / 29 intersection to Burnet, Alltel reception is very good to perfect. Sprint PCS reception is zero (nada, zilch, zip) until you get near Burnet. Alltel reception from 1431 / 29 along West Lake Buchanan is also very good to perfect, with Sprint PCS reception being spotty at best. Alltel is also very good through Kingsland to Marble Falls, with Sprint PCS being acceptable, but with a few small dead spots. Strangely, Alltel signal inside the Marble Falls Walmart Supercenter is stronger than outside, with Sprint PCS losing signal as soon as you enter the doors.

Reasonable service outside home, limited to no service inside home. One dropout site between Buchanan Dam and Burnet. All in all, I'm pleased with the Alltel service just about everywheere I go.
