Don't let the bars fool you. My phone often shows five bars, but it's lying. As I open it up, start dialing, put it up to my ear, the bars slowly decrease. I hear crackling and popping when it first dials out. By the time I connect to the person I'm dialing, the strength has dwindled down to one bar. Cingular's "raising the bar" advertising is bs as far as I'm concerned. When I'm at home, in the Cooks Point area, it's even worse. My wife has Verizon and has absolutely no problems with reception. I will be switching to Verizon as soon as my contract runs out. Or perhaps getting rid of a cell phone altogether. I've had a long run of bad luck with them. I'm sick and tired of bad reception and it's just not worth it.

Everytime I hear their commercial or see it on TV it burns me up. I'm fixing to change to another carrier.
