I've have Cingular / At&t for over 18-20 years and the service has continued to disappointment. All my friends now have Verizon switched from AT&T and they continue to laugh at me because when we are out they have service and I don't. Tooo bad it took me sooo long to switch but not for long because Verizon here I come... ..

Reception is very poor in my house I can get 2-3 bars upstairs in two room facing southwest. I may get 1 bar in other parts of the house but no phone use. It's like this wih any ATT phone, LG Incite works best, 4 different Samsung models were the worst, Sony Errikson and Nokia and Motorola Krazer all the same. We have to go outside in the front yard to use our phones. The next door neighbor switched from ATT to Sprint so they could get coverage. My son has T-Mobile and both of his phones and web service work great at my location. If I could just get a good affordable Family plan with T-Mobile!

Company switched from Verizon (Great Reception) to ATT (No Reception). SAME PHONE (Blackberry 8330) just different provider. Dump ATT!

Verizon is Pretty Dang good!

We get little to no signal inside our house. Everyone we know gets their calls dropped on FM1382 near Lake Joe Pool. Also on Mt. Creek Pkwy. near Camp Wisdom. which runs along side 1382. My husband and I own property in a small town in central Mexico and get a great signal everywhere... but here it's horrible. I think Cedar Hill is an especially bad location for cell phones because of the TV towers? We've been with Cingular for about 8 yrs. We've had a lot of different phones and none improve the situation.

Some days or some times of the night / day seem to be better than others, but typically reception is none to 2 bars with skips or dropped calls about every 30 seconds. I've tried amplifiers with no significant improvement. Customer service tells me that the nearest tower is over 2 miles away, and a local store rep told me that the nearby radio / TV towers interfere with reception. Cingular or Verizon users seem to fair much better here.

I barely get a bar inside my house. I have to go stand outside or by a window to talk on the cell phone.

Half way between towers and Joe Pool Lake, deep in woods. Many phones/carriers have extremely poor reception here or none at all. Nokia 6800 better than most with no dropouts. Towards town, away from TV towers excellent reception. Up the road a bit, not so deep in woods, but not right under towers reception improves.

Receive weak signal in house; dropped calls. Also roaming from parents' house in Salado. Roaming in hospital. I think the phone itself is partly to blame.
