Typically I love At&T and have great service just about everywhere I go. Unfortunately I can barely seem to get any signal in my house. Not sure if it's my phone or just the service.

I almost always get good reception, but during high traffic times, such as after football games, AT&T seems to drop calls alot.

Sprint is the worst. I have a Verizon data card that is fairly poor in this location, and ATT is not too bad (at least I can talk on the phone) but Sprint was absolutely zero reception - unable to speak at ALL>.

Flawless reception in College Station; toughest places are on campus in some of the older buildings, however my phone will switch to roaming (which is free) and I won't have any problems. Great service in TX overall with all of their roaming aggrements with Alltel and Verizon.

Usually works great, but does sometimes have problems receiving signal inside buildings.

I've dropped a call maybe once in two years.

We had problems a few years ago getting reception in our home on Rock Prairie, but Verizon fixed this problem and I now get full bars all over town. Even on campus inside buildings (except in the basement with no windows) I've not had any problems with reception. I switched from Sprint because Sprint kept dropping calls on Welborn Rd.and service was terribly spotty everywhere in town.. I'm no fan of any phone company, but Verizon also works in National Parks and in the Metro in D.C.

I do not get consistent reception either on campus or at my apartment. If it says three bars it is doing good, but then when I try to dial out it immediately drops to one or none. Drops one out of every three calls. Drops all calls to other Cingular customers in the area. Might as well have two cans connected together with a string.

Signal breaks up frequently. Dropped calls also an issue. the closer you get to campus the better the signal gets

I can get reception in this area only some of the time. It is better on high ground but even then calls seem to go from OK to can barely hear. Calls on this phone seem to drop to very low volum on every call.

Poor reception usually, sometimes not at all. Same outside as inside.

My LG sounds like I am under water most of the time. I have had the company exchange the phone but no help. I think it may just be the phone. I plan on dumping it soon and telling everyone to avoid LG and Cingular

My roommates get terrible reception with AT&T(now Cingular, not much better), but I have great signal all over College Station. My Samsung A600 is also a great phone for sound quality and coverage too, so that's a positive. Thinking of getting a RAZR with Cingular, don't know if I should or not...

Outside, reception on the digital network is very poor. Sometimes the analog network is available. Inside there is no service at all. Sometimes the Cingular network cuts in, suggesting that Cingular service might be better in this location.

Sprint reception in A&M dorm rooms and buildings is very poor. Outside walking to class is OK

I get great reception with GSM AT&T now Cingular in College Station. I call frequently to Berkeley CA and our calls often get dropped.

Never had any problems. Ever since the installation of new tower last year, signal has always been great throughout the town.

Audio tends to break up at the start of calls, then better with time. (?)

I have no problem getting signal any where on campus with my T-Mobile phone, when I got it I was worried about not being able use my phone when inside buildings. (those times in class where you text a friend because the prof is about as fun as getting kicked in the, well anyways..) When I got the phone in Dallas they told me that there was a new tower going up on campus and that coverage would be great there. Sure enough, great coverage around town too.

Lots of dropped calls with Sprint PCS. Looking for a new company when the contract runs out.
