Have static on received calls 25% of the time... ready to switch to Verizon...

I have been with Sprint for almost 12+++ yrs. Reception in this are it's very bad ever since I remember. Now I have an unlimited data plan, but its so limited due to bad reception. Considering switching to an other carrier. Or, its there anything that can be done to fix the problem ?

Because I switched these two phones back and forth MANY Times, I can verify a Very consistent problem with dropping calls and bad connection using my NEW Blackberry Bold 9000 and 3g - The THREE G is the problem! When I switch BACK to my Blackberry Curve 8310 (which uses GSM reception), I NEVER have ANY Problems. I ALWAYS get 5 GSM Bars so, 3G is the Problem. I'm staying with my Old Blackberry Curve 8310 using ONLY GSM - I thought 3G was suppose to be a lot better? - Dang Thee 3 G!

I have had no reception in this area since July 13th. Sprint customer service apologizes when I call twice a week, but informs me there is nothing they can do. Tower that services parts of 75244, 75234, 75229 has been down since July 13th. One cs rep told me I should feel lucky because some customers won't have service until October. I have been with Sprint for 12 years, but this is a breach of contract on their part.

Extra slow and no coverage can't even talk on my phone cause the line cuts off metro has more coverage in this area so sad a big dissapointment

No phone or text in or out in this area. Tech support told me that tower is down and will be up on Aug 15. Funny thing is phone shows at least 3 bars and the web access works on the phone. Also just a block away all the services work.

I am visiting from out of town. Cannot call out, text, receive calls in this location where I am staying. Six Sprint devices in this house for past few days. No one has service. Very frustrating.

Have not had any reception for any Sprint phone in almost 3 weeks at home. Replaced two phones at Sprint store after techs attempted repairs. Finally called Sprint customer service and found out our nearest tower has been out since July 13th. Was supposed to be fixed by July 21st. Today is August 7th. Obvious lack of communication among Sprint personnel. No ideas on when we will have service again.

My phone will indicate I have full bars but no incoming or outgoing calls. Also evdo is down. This is very frustrating. I am thinking of dropping Sprint because of this.

I was "forced" to get a new phone by ATT and my old Nokia 3595 never dropped calls and ALWAYS had 4 to 5 bars. Now I have this Pantech Ease seems like calls drop all the time and when I am talking to people which BTW are all in the same city I am they say the conversation cuts in and out and "IF" I get any bars "which is rare" its 2 at best. I thought the whole reason ATT was "forcing" people to get new phone was because it was old technology they were not supporting anymore... .well seems to me the old technology worked a heck of a lot better than this 3G junk I have now and I don't even have data on the phone it just phone and text. I am considering cancelling since I am still within my cancel time and I have been an ATT customer since 2004.

I have been on AT&T for 10 years and have gone through bouts of bad receptions / dropped calls. But for the last 5 years AT&T has given me no trouble at all. My job takes me around both Dallas and Ft. Worth. 3 month ago I got an iPhone 4. No lost or dropped calls, anywhere, at any time. Today I was 2 levels under a 36 story down town high rise parking garage, 3 bars, perfect reception. I like dublin dr. peppers and drive out to dublin to pick them up myself, cheaper then mail ordering 5+ boxes. No big cities, no 3G just 2G / edge, I called a friend's land line last time on my iPhone. Couldn't tell where I was or that I wasn't on a land line myself.

It is rare for either phone to have more than a single bar and too often it doesn't have that.

No reception in house. Poor reception in neighborhood (it's not like we live in the boondocks!) AT&T wants us to BUY a microcell to get a better signal.

Despite a significant user discount for state-agency employees, Verizon reception is really bad on most of the UT Southwestern Medical Campus, ranging on both sides of Inwood along Harry Hines.

I have had problems even with my other I-phones. Multiple dropped calls or there is constantly static on the calls.

At home ina condo tower, I (try to) use my iPhone4 by a window. Signal bars range from 1 to 3, with many dropped calls.

I recently moved back to Texas from Massachusetts. Verizon's coverage was excellent up there and for the most part is very good in North Texas. However, there is basically no signal in the Oaklawn area throughout.

I drop calls EVERY time at this location. Usually right aroud Royal or Forest. Doesn't matter if I'm calling another cell or a land line, the call drops.

My flight was cancelled tonight and ha to call my travel agent. Call was dropped twice and when the agent called me it went to my vmail as there wasn't a strong enough signal. Overall coverage at the airport is terrible and very weak and intermittent at best. Not surprisingly, trying to email or surf the Internet while waiting around was very slow.

inside reception stinks. has across 3 phones from tmobile. Hope 3g would help. can't get 3g unless I go outside. ATT no probs. Tmobile needs to invest in some infrastructure or some agreements.
