Around Love field and in some parts of the terminal I get 0-2 bar reception. Inside of buildings forget it. I used to walk out to the parking lot to make calls however with the new construction to our parking lot I have to drive off campus to get any reception.

I used to have a T68i that received very little reception inside my house. The Cingular Sony Ericsson T637 gets great reception.

0-2 bars in the house. Must go to window or outdoors for good reception.

Virtually no bars. Sometimes phone searches for Cingular network there. When you are able to make or receive a call, its frequently dropped.

Reception in downtown area great. works in elevators and inside buildings. Cingular / ATT's 850mhz has better ability to go thru walls than the other higher cellular frequencies much the same as bass goes thru walls better than treble from your neighbor's stereo.

T-Mobile recently added a tower to the neighborhood, and reception increased dramatically. Funny, since the local T-Mobile business offices are so close (Forest / Webb Chapel) and the coverage was so awful for the past few years.

My T68 gets poor reception in my house, sometimes sporadic, no bars to 4 and then 1 - worse in the last two weeks. Two other phones (cheap Samsungs) seem to get good reception. I can walk a block in either direction and get a good signal.

I get terrible reception in my home, except for one tiny spot in a room. I get bad pockets all throughout the backyard and front yard. I am now in IA and the same problems. No reception in the house here, except for a tiny spot in the house. All my friends seem to get excellent reception with Verizon in all places. I'm switching when my contract ends April 18th. Nothing has changed in over 2 years.

My phone never works in my house and this is a big problem since I office out of my house can get the reception to talk to customers. I have called Cingular several times and the only thing they suggest is to buy a call forward device that sends the signal from the cell to the home phone. They also there are plenty of towers in the area and my phone should be working fine what a load of crap

Dropped calls, poor reception inside or out. Moving to Verizon.

I live in a second floor unit and I only get 1-2 bars indoors next to window when not using phone. In order to speak on the phone I have to open a door or window to get a signal. I've had someone using a Motorola phone with AT&T service in my apartment and it worked fine in the living room with the patio door closed.

We just replaced our Sprint and Cingular phones with Nextels and we have gone from low to no signal inside the appartment to a strong signal inside the appartment.

Reception in the appartment complex is average. Inside the appartment it is poor.

Reception near the appartment complex is below average. Once inside the complex it is poor and inside the appartment there is no reception at all.

Usually get 0-1 bars on phone.

3rd floor apartment, no reception inside. Thinking of switching carriers.

Same complaints phone get more bars when not in use then when a call is placed reception is horrible sometimes ending in dropped calls. I had friends here with Blackberry, Sony, and Nokia phones and all experienced problems with the GSM service in this area. Cingular better get raising the bar. Real soon.
